The calibration constantly fails in the Tobii Configuration App, what should I do?

  • Ensure the Tobii Eye Tracking bar is connected and positioned correctly.

  • Ensure that the screen is not tilted too far up.

  • Ensure you are using the provided chin rest for calibration and assessments.

  • Ensure that you are at the right height for the Tobii Eye Tracking bar position.

  • Ensure that you are following the calibration instructions correctly - making sure your eyes (represented by white circles) are in the box and make sure you keep your gaze on the blue calibration circles.

  • Ensure that no one is standing behind yo whilst using the Tobii Eye Tracking bar - this could cause confusion for the apps.

  • Restart the Tobii Configuration app.
